Racecapture/Track

Racecapture/Track is a new plug and play data-logging solution for vehicles equipped with OBDII or CAN-Bus.

It is hard to imagine an easier installation.  Just plug the multiway connector into the diagnostic port on your car, put the RaceCapture on the dash and the engine telemetry along with GPS, accellerometer and gyro data will be available in the app on your phone/tablet/PC.

We're really excited by the prospect of this, you can be up and running in under 5 minutes from taking delivery of the new system.  If you need to move between cars just unplug the connector and move it to the new vehicle - total time taken about a minute!

Best of all RaceCapture/Track uses exactly the same user-friendly, phone/tablet/desktop apps as RaceCapture/Pro which you already know and love.  We've got a limited number of systems in stock right now on our website -  RaceCapture/Track

Whoops!

Everyone makes mistakes.  This time it was the person bending a batch of our crank sensor brackets at the factory.   Compare and contrast the two images below.






Rather than bending them "up" the brackets were bent "down" which means that they don't fit the A-series engine installations that we intended. We don't want these brackets going to waste so we're offering them on the Bargain Basement section of our website.

Coil-X RPM adaptor

Lots of modern equipment, be that data logger, rev counter, shiftlight or whatever needs an RPM feed but can only accept a 5-volt pulse.  If you've got an older engine that uses a traditional coil ignition then you're a bit stuck.  Now though we have the Coil-X adaptor which takes the high voltage "flyback" pulse from the ignition coil that drives older rev counters and converts it into a clean 5-volt pulse that modern equipment can understand.

New website - now with fewer bugs!

Our new website recently went live.  It was supposed to be a much better experience on mobile devices but unfortunately the shopping cart system that our site is built on had a few bugs which have taken the supplier until now to fix.

Our sincere apologies go out to those of you on tablets/phones that have had a less good user experience that we would have liked.  We think things are fixed but I am sure that you'll all let us know if you find any more issues.

VVTpro systems back in stock

We're happy to announce that VVTpro systems are back in stock.  All back-orders will ship by close of play 2nd March.

VVTpro availability

We're currently out of stock of our VVTpro cam controllers.  Not to worry though - we've a new batch of them being produced at the factory right now.  We should have them back in stock during March.
