Deliveries

Everybody likes it when the delivery van turns up outside.  Where the postman pushes bills and junk mail through the letter box the delivery van invariably means boxes of fun stuff.  When you're a business things aren't so different but the joy of another delivery of toys is always balanced against the knowledge that with every box there is a consequent pile of work to go along with it.

With every delivery what work follows for us varies dramatically, some products simply need to go on our shelves whilst others need further assembly/packaging or refurbishment.  For instance our Megajolt ECUs each need unpacking from their protective shipping packaging, they are all then given a final workout on our test bench (they've already been tested once when they came off the production line) and then each ECU is repackaged and goes on the shelf.  It's a fair amount of work to do that for each and every ECU but we think it is worth it to ensure that when an ECU arrives with a customer we can be absolutely certain that all is well.
